Juliette began her career as a civil rights attorney, would later move into public safety and homeland security, serving as Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick’s homeland security adviser. After several years overseeing the 8,000-plus member Massachusetts National Guard, the commonwealth’s strategic security planning, and the distribution of homeland security funds she was tapped by President-elect Obama to be part of his transition team before being chosen as Assistant Secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs at the Department of Homeland Security.

Rich Rosen and Carl Kowalski return to Monday Night Talk just a day before the town of Whitman's first ever 1st Night Celebration. The event is scheduled to coincide with the 75th anniversary of Nestle's Toll House cookie, which originated in Whitman. On New Year's Eve, the town plans on having a number of activities which included three musical acts, food and at midnight; lowering a cookie and pyrotechnics.
