Kathy Czerny, President of the South Shore Conservatory and Debbie Cox, Executive Director of the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra are special guests on this episode of Monday Night Talk! Kathy and Debbie join Kevin Tocci and Paula Harris to talk about an upcoming event that their organizations along with the Plimoth Plantation and MASSCreative are co-sponsoring which will open a discussion on the role of the arts and culture in advancing the economic, educational and cultural vitality of South Shore communities and the importance of state support for the arts and cultural organizations. A number of local legislators have been invited too. The event will be hosted at the South Shore Conservatory in Duxbury.

Mark will present Rock & Comedy for a Cause at the historic War Memorial on April 5th, featuring host Steve Schirripa (Sopranos), national comedy headliners Christine Hurley, Ken Rogerson, Johnny Pizzi, special surprise guest(s) and a live performance by Aerosmith tribute band, Draw the Line. Mr Chauppetta is proud to bring Rock & Comedy for a Cause to Brockton MA. for its first event, and should bring a lot of laughs, people, and music together for a great cause to support to the Jett Foundation and the Mass Hospital School which will bring help and awareness to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which afflicts Mark’s twin boys Troy & Andrew Chauppetta. Alex Bezanson from the HUG Foundation stops by Monday Night Talk to talk about an upcoming fundraiser. Joining Alex on the show is Mike Girard, lead singer of The Fools, along with TV & radio personality,The Guy From Boston, Joe Ligotti to talk about the upcoming fundraiser. The HUG Foundation is hosting a great night of music and fundraising as they present The Fools live in concert hosted by Joe Ligotti from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Braintree DAV on April 5. Tickets includes a buffet dinner at $30 per person in advance $35 per person at the door $275 reserve a table for 10. The HUG Foundation is a local charity that raises money through fun events like this to distribute to local individuals and families in need during times of injury or illness and to help other charities and fundraisers with their own efforts. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to NECN reporter Nicole Jacobs, who will be running the Boston Marathon for the Dana Farber Cancer Center.
