Brockton Superintendent of Schools Kathleen Smith and Police Officer Nancy Leedberg are special guests during this brief segment on Monday Night Talk! The Superintendent and Officer Leedberg discuss a special forum that is being held on February 26th. A part of the event will focus on the curriculum and instruction, programs and services and operational issues of the Brockton Public Schools. There will also be a NotMYkid presentation that will educate parents about addictions and destructive behaviors so the community can work together to give students the confidence and self-assurance they need to avoid the temptation of drugs, alcohol and destructive decisions. The event is being held at the East Middle School, 464 Centre Street at 6pm.

He also discuss an article titled The Way Back for Esquire.com, which followed a group of 114 Boston Marathon survivors, first responders and their families, as they travel to through French wine country. Casey also talks about his book, The Finest Hours:The True Story of a Heroic Sea Rescue (children's edition), which was just published and was selected as Best Children's Book of the Month by Amazon. He explained what role Marshfield played in the rescue, what its like to adapt an adult book for a children's audience and shares details about the big Disney movie in the works. Paul contends that Brook has solicited millions from investors, but has not brought up anything significant and has never publicly announced bringing up any treasure. He says the scam involves numerous people from the US and other countries too. During the discussion, Susan calls in to share her experience with investing into one of the treasure. According to Paul, who is also an attorney, it's only a matter of time before the law catches up with Brooks!

The group performance featured a 5 minute hip hop performance on the parquet floor of the TD Garden. The money the group raises from each event and has collected more than $15,000 since 2009.
