Williams and Spears are looking to hold a public event that will be a town hall style gathering to discuss problems with racial profiling and understanding the African American culture. Planning for the event began soon after a number of peaceful demonstrations were held around the country when George Zimmerman was found not guilty of shooting and killing young Trayvon Martin.

Dave shares details on teaming up with Casey Sherman to write a book about the city's reaction to the Boston Marathon bombing. Once its written, the book will be adapted into a screenplay by two of the Oscar-nominated screenwriters of The Fighter. The book is scheduled to be published in 2014 by University Press of New England. The Boston Marathon bombings left three people dead and wounded more than 260.
