Christine Elise McCarthy is a special guest on this episode of Monday Night Talk!!! Christine, who is not only an actress, but is also the author of, Bathing & The Single Girl, calls into the the show to discuss the new book with Kevin Tocci and Bob Hayes. She has been acting professionally for 25 years and is recognized primarily for her roles as Emily Valentine, on Beverly Hills, 90210; Harper Tracy on ER, and as Kyle, the gal who killed Chucky in Child’s Play 2. She has also appeared in recurring roles on China Beach, In the Heat of the Night, and Tell Me You Love Me. Among her other film roles are Abel Ferrara’s Body Snatchers and two films starring Viggo Mortensen: Vanishing Point and Boiling Point. Bathing & The Single Girl has been called a smutty, mercilessly irreverent and laugh-out-loud funny debut novel. Inspired by her one-woman short film of the same name, it’s the kind of novel Jonathan Ames might write if he’d dropped out of college and had been working as an actress in Hollywood for the last 20 years. Author Casey Sherman is a special guest during this portion of Monday Night Talk!!! Host Kevin Tocci, WATD's managing news editor and Joe Rossi talk with Casey about teaming up with former Boston Herald writer Dave Wedge to write a book about the Boston Marathon bombing. He also discuss an article titled The Way Back for Esquire.com, which followed a group of 114 Boston Marathon survivors, first responders and their families, as they travel to through French wine country. Casey also talks about his book, The Finest Hours:The True Story of a Heroic Sea Rescue (children's edition), which was just published and was selected as Best Children's Book of the Month by Amazon. He explained what role Marshfield played in the rescue, what its like to adapt an adult book for a children's audience and shares details about the big Disney movie in the works. Kevin Tocci and Alex Bezanson talk with former NHL star Theo Fluery on this edition of Monday Night Talk! Theo, who scored over 1,000 points in his career, won the Stanley Cup in 1989 and won a gold medal with Team Canada in 2002, co-wrote Playing with Fire, a best-selling autobiography, in which he revealed that he had been sexually abused by former coach Graham James. He has since become an advocate for sexual abuse victims and developed a career as a public speaker.

Born in Boston, Christine has starred on television series such as Beverly Hills 90210 as Emily Valentine, love interest of Brandon Walsh (Jason Priestly), E.R. as Dr. Harper Tracy, had a recurring role on HBO's Tell Me You Love Me Series and been a regular on LA Firefighters.Plus she's had her share of success on the big screen starring in Child's Play 2, Body Snatchers, Defenseless, Route 30 and Mojave Phone Booth. Christine also was involved with writing, directing, producing and acting in the short film "Bathing & the Single Girl." When she isn't in front of the camera, she like to blog about food and write stories and anecdotes from her life.

The Boston Herald's Dave Wedge joins Monday Night Talk host Kevin Tocci and Joe Rossi in studio to talk about working on his forthcoming book, Boston Strong. Dave shares details on teaming up with Casey Sherman to write a book about the city's reaction to the Boston Marathon bombing. Once its written, the book will be adapted into a screenplay by two of the Oscar-nominated screenwriters of The Fighter. The book is scheduled to be published in 2014 by University Press of New England. The Boston Marathon bombings left three people dead and wounded more than 260.
